Hm, mods like this, I don´t like it, and I will have to use diesel anyway.any other solution (selling the car maybe?)?.I saw a video on Discovery (mythbusters) of diesels running on wasted oil, gotta find more about it. And I won´t use that water-diesel from the gas stations around here. That´s it, not anymore, I don´t have money for fuel anymore! Paying 2 euros per litre is simply much.So far I´ve been only driving on diesel from my friend who works as a driver for gas stations, so he always gave me some pure diesel. I really love my car and seeing how they mix water with petrodiesel is driving me nuts. One site says I can use B100, while other says it is safe to use only B20. I thought about making my own biodiesel (using procedure from this website ), of course I will have it checked for cetane number and quality (and I plan adding additives to it).īut the problem is this, I have a Skoda Octavia TDI 1.9 litre engine (ALH), model year is 2003 so it is TDI VE engine. The reason is price (1,4€/litre = 5.3€/gal = ~7$/gal), and because fuel quality here is really bad (they mix diesel with water ). I´m a little bit confused about running on biodiesel fuel. Hello, new to the forums (and I love it!). So, can I run on BioDiesel or not? (Journal added)
